Jake & Ryan: Big Love in the Lone Star State

ree

Some wedding projects just radiate joy and this Texas suite was one of them. From the very first call, I knew this couple wanted stationery that felt fun, personal, and full of life. They dreamed of something that captured their love for their city, their story, and the vibrant energy of their wedding weekend.

We started with the centerpiece of the design: a hand-drawn skyline of their beloved city. It instantly grounded the suite in place; a perfect nod to where their story unfolded and where they chose to say “I do.” From there, we layered in playful gold accents that added just the right touch of shimmer. Nothing over the top, just enough to catch the light and make each piece feel special.

One of my favorite elements was the custom map we created for their guests. It highlighted all the weekend events and local favorites, turning the stationery into a mini guidebook for the celebration. It wasn’t just beautiful AND it was useful, too, which is always a win in my book.

The overall design struck that perfect Texas balance: elegant but never too serious, sophisticated with a wink of personality. The combination of soft, neutral tones with pops of gold gave everything a warm, happy glow.

Every time I look back on this suite, it just makes me smile. It’s a reminder that wedding stationery can be so much more than pretty paper, it’s a sneak peek into the kind of celebration your guests can expect: thoughtful, joyful, and full of heart.
